The difference is who you design for — and whether anyone acts on what you make.
You have data. You might even have dashboards. What you probably don't have is a clear line between what the dashboard says and what happens next. I design BI systems around decisions, not metrics — so the people who need to act can see exactly what they need to see.
Most data problems are architecture problems in disguise. I work with technical and leadership teams to map the current state, identify where data is being lost or ignored, and build a roadmap that won't need replacing in eighteen months.
Some problems need an outsider with no political skin in the game. I embed directly with your team — short or long engagements — and work alongside your people rather than handing over a deck and leaving.
I don't take briefs at face value. Every engagement starts with a conversation about what decision needs to be made and who needs to make it. The technical work follows from that — not the other way around.
Let's define the right problem first.
